Promising breakthrough modernization program of military technology for the Indian Navy

Military-technical cooperation between Concern ‘Granit-Electron’ (part of ‘Tactical Missiles Corporation’) and India has been a crucial component of export activities since 1996 and remains relevant and significant to this day

The radar complexes and systems, developed by the Concern, have stood the test of time, proving their reliability and effectiveness in the Indian Navy due to their high targeting accuracy and versatile technologies.

Today, Concern ‘Granit-Electron’ offers modernization of all shipborne automated fire control systems for anti-ship missiles, KASU 3R-60UE, installed on Indian Navy ships. The system is designed to deploy the latest products, such as the Kh-35UE cruise missile, developed by ‘Tactical Missiles Corporation’.

The modernized 3R-60UE system ensures missile's range, high-precision guidance, and effective target engagement. The 3R-60UE can be integrated with the ship's combat information control system and satellite navigation system, enabling effective use of the Kh-35UE missile.

The modernized 3R-60UE system provides additional capabilities for the operator, such as real-time processing and analysis of data from conducted firing exercises.

During the modernization, the latest component base was applied, ensuring that the system's production will be supported for 10-15 years, maintaining its lifecycle and repairability. ‘Uran-E’ complex with the new Kh-35UE missile and the modernized 3R-60UE system is a cost-effective solution for engaging naval and coastal targets.

The proposed modernization represents the forward-looking solutions from the Concern ‘Granit-Electron’ that contribute to strengthening the combat capabilities of the Indian Navy.

Deliveries of the shipborne automated fire control systems for anti-ship missiles, developed by Concern ’Granit-Electron’, can also be made for newly constructed Indian warships, which require modernized equipment. To obtain target designation data for the Kh-35UE missile at its full range, the modernized 3Ñ-25E radar with active and passive channels, a tactical group ship interaction channel, and a channel for receiving data from aerial target designation sources such as helicopters and UAVs, serves as an effective innovative engineering solution. 3Ñ-25E radar is installed on various Indian Navy ships and can be modernized with significant improvements in technical characteristics and reliability.

Concern ’Granit-Electron’ in accordance with Government of India policy ‘Make in India’ is promoting the strong relationships with the Indian industrial partners and is ready to organize a joint production of modern equipment in India in order to satisfy all requirements of the Indian Navy.
