Why is the world investing in drones?
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are experiencing rapid growth, transforming from a tool for enthusiasts and the military into a key element of technological transformation of the economy. The global UAV market, which is projected to exceed $48 billion in the coming years, is attracting huge investments and attention from governments around the world. This attention is due to the unique combination of opportunities that drones offer: from increasing the efficiency of traditional industries (such as agriculture and energy) to creating entirely new services (such as urban air mobility).

Rosoboronexport JSC (part of the Rostec State Corporation) was organizing the single Russian exhibit at the Dubai Airshow 2025, an international aerospace exhibition was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The Russian pavilion, covering a total area of 1,000 square meters, featured defence, dual-use and civilian products from the country's major defence holding companies, including Rostec's United Aircraft Corporation, United Engine Corporation, Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern and others. Products from the Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation and the Tactical Missiles Corporation also were on display. The Russian Knights aerobatic team, always acclaimed by spectators worldwide, performed aerobatic maneuvers on Su-35S fighters.

Unmanned aerial vehicles have now become one of the main air threats. This has significantly increased the relevance of air defense systems capable of countering this threat
Perhaps the best of these are the anti-aircraft missile systems of the Tor family. The main manufacturer and developer of these systems is Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol (a member of Almaz - Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation), one of the largest enterprises in Russia's defense industry. IEMP Kupol is constantly improving its main products and has significantly enhanced their combat capabilities. This includes countering UAVs.

For the first time Rosoboronexport JSC is organizing a unified Russian exhibition at the UMEX&SIMTEX 2026 international show and conference on unmanned systems and modulation tools in the United Arab Emirates
At the event, which will take place from January 20 to 22, 2026 in Abu Dhabi, the special exporter will present Russian advanced solutions in the field of UAV and will discuss the industry’s prospects with foreign delegations.

We make batteries for real-world use, not for ideal conditions on a test bench
Drones operate in the field: in heat and cold, on long routes, with heavy payloads. Any unplanned landing, data loss or power failure results in direct losses. That is why at GetPwr we treat the battery not as a consumable, but as a key element of the entire system.
Our task is to eliminate uncertainty. To make energy predictable and ensure that the equipment performs its task the first time around.
Our solution is semi-solid-state batteries. This is the choice where safety, stability and predictable results are important.
