‘Almaz-Antey’ at MAKS-2017

Concern will present more than 150 product samples

The Concern VKO ‘Almaz - Antey’ will participate at the International Air-Space Show MAKS-2017, which will be held in Zhukovsky located near Moscow from July 18 to 23, 2017. More than 150 military, civil and double-purpose product samples produced by the Concern subsidiaries will be presented.

On the exposition of the Concern, it is planned to locate the new site-collected equipment samples: the combat vehicle from the complex of the latest Arctic air defense missile system (ADMS) ‘Tor-M2DT’, the launching station from the complex of Triumph S-400 missile system, the transporter-erector-launcher-radar from the complex of Buk-M2E ADMS with a containerized simulator, surface-to-air missiles for the Triumph S-400 missile system, Tor-M2E missile system, the Shtil-1 ship multi-drop guided missile system, Protivnik-GE radio detection and ranging equipment, the radio detection and ranging equipment for detection of burned out stages at start of space vehicles, 55Zh6ME, 1L125E radio detection and ranging equipment, small-scale 1L122E, elements of a directing point of Gorizont-E combat aviation and the developmental prototype of the inter-specific advanced Ulybka-M radiolocation meteoric complex, as well as other known products.

The Concern will present Triumph S-400 missile system, Favorit S-300PMU2, Antey-2500, Tor and Buk ADMSs, Osa-AKM1, sea-based Rif-M, Shtil-1 and Klinok ADMS, Nebo-SVU, Nebo-UE, Kasta-2E2, Fara-VR radar stations, MSP-418K container active jamming station, Omul jamming system in form of models and posters on the stand.

Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, the Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Activities of the Concern VKO ‘Almaz-Antey’, noted that basic and business opportunities of organization as well as the wide range of products will be presented at the Concern stand within the framework of MAKS-2017. More than 20 Concern subsidiaries will present their products.

In the course of MAKS-2017, the specialists of the Concern VKO ‘Almaz-Antey’ will familiarize the show visitors with the technology of creating controlled visibility and camouflage, the technology of formation of radar portraits of aircraft used to detect and identify airborne objects. These technologies will be represented by samples of materials, mock-ups and explanatory documents.

In a separate thematic zone, the Concern will place civil and dual-purpose products. These are the digital observation station for air control — the monopulse secondary radar ‘Avrora-2’, airspace use planning automation complex ‘Sintez-PIVP’, air traffic control automation system ‘Sintez’, aircraft radar facility ‘Lira-A10’, enroute radar facility ‘Sopka-2’, weather surveillance radars ‘DMRL-S’ and ‘DMRL-3’, optical system of instrumental landing in conditions of poor visibility ‘Lotsman’, KSA UVN remote video monitoring automation system and other products.

‘Concern VKO ‘Almaz - Antey’ being the main manufacturer and system integrator of equipment for the Unified ATM System will pay special attention to presentation of advanced developments in the field of radio technical support of flights and air navigation services. They will be represented by a separate segment,’ told Dmitry Savitsky, Deputy General Director on Products for the Air Navigation System and Double-Purpose Products of the Concern VKO ‘Almaz - Antey’.

According to him, many products demonstrated at the stand of the Concern have been successfully tested and are being used today in the air traffic control centers of the Russian Federation and abroad.

A special place in the exposition of the Concern will be engaged by the achievements in the field of import substitution and additive technologies. The mock-ups of the SHF-submodules used in radars, modern TV-transmitter, 3D printer models and products obtained with their help will be presented. Here, guests will be able to get acquainted with information about the production of radio-photonic products, printed circuits and application of additive technologies in the production of the Concern products.

In addition, within the framework of the forum it is planned to hold a briefing of Y.V. Novikov, General Director of Concern ‘Almaz - Antey’, JSC for representatives of the accredited media.

The Concern VKO “Almaz-Antey” will exhibit for the eighth time at the International air-space show in Zhukovsky traditionally held every two years. This year, the holding is going to participate in the International military and technical forum “Army-2017” in Kubinka located near Moscow and in Dubai Airshow-2017.
