This year, the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) celebrates 80 years since foundation. The 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX concluded at the Baku Expo Center, marking the largest event in the region dedicated to the defense industry
Concurrently, the 14th International Exhibition on "Internal Security, Protection, and Rescue Technology" Securex Caspian took place. The event was organized by Caspian Event Organisers and its international partner, Caspian Event Management. The joint Russian exposition at the ADEX 2024 was organized and presented by ROSOBORONEXPORT JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation).

At Airshow China 2024, Almaz – Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation JSC will exhibit mockups and scaled models of weapons and military equipment as well as civilian products
The manufacturer will put on display the following models: the S-400 Triumph long-range, the S-350E Vityaz and Viking medium-range surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems, the Tor (Thor) short-range air defense system family and the Tunguska-M1 anti-aircraft gun and missile (AAGM) system.

The Tactical Missiles Corporation (TMC), Russian acronym KTRV, is the distinguished world leader in development and production of air-launched precision-guided munitions (PGM)
Today, its corporate structure comprises over fifty member companies. Their share in the global market for air-launched PGM accounts for about 10%, and naval weapons for about 20%. Russia’s Ministry of Defense confirms that the air-launched munitions developed and manufactured by the Corporation have proved their worth and advertized performance.

Russia has technical solutions in a wide range of segments. Foreign operators successfully use Russian aircraft on almost all continents, including for humanitarian purposes. Therefore, it is especially important for the operators of aircraft and helicopters to build a well-structured service system, which can only be successful if it is based on working with the official Russian side.

The personal friendship between the leaders of Russia and China – Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping – is very helpful for the further development of mutually beneficial relations between the two great powers
The leaders meet in person very often, both in the bilateral format and on the margins of international forums. The meetings in Kazan on October, 2024 at the BRICS summit became a new page in the same way.

As a result, the Sukhoi design bureau has produced an airplane that can adjust itself to the level of pilot’s skills, one that is hard to detect by radio-electronic, infra-red, electro-optical and sound sensors. About 70% of its airframe surface is made of composite materials. The flight suit can forecast g-loads and adjust to them so as to help pilot sustain maneuvering. These and other high technologies and engineering solutions have shaped the aircraft inside and out.

The Adjutant versatile system for target practice is intended for exercises of crews manning various anti-aircraft systems, their whole range from long-range surface-to-air missiles (SAM) down to portable shoulder-launched missiles and rapid-fire guns
The Kupol company, a member in the Almaz–Antey corporation, has long been specializing in development and production of combat and technical elements in the Tor SAM system family. The company’s team is well aware of the whole spectrum of issues that require close attention in the process of SAM crews training. Such a system, the Adjutant, has been designed and built.

The 10th ARMY International Military and Technical Forum (ARMY-2024) was held in Patriot Congress and Exhibition Centre from 12 to 14 August 2024
The Forum included a static exposition, a scientific-business programme as well as protocol events. More than 1,000 domestic and foreign enterprises and organizations submitted more than 20,000 samples of military and dual-use products in the form of nature-size samples, mock-ups, and advertising and information materials. An exhibition of samples of military products, industrial enterprises and armaments in service with the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation was formed on the outdoor areas of the Patriot Exhibition Centre.

Relations between Russia and Egypt demonstrate stable principles of friendship and partnership in all spheres, including economic, political and military-technical cooperation. An important component of the good relations between our countries is the frequent contacts between the leaders of the countries - President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi
For example, on January this year President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi took part in a ceremony, held via videoconference, for pouring the first concrete into the foundation of the fourth power unit of the Egyptian El-Dabaa NPP.

Today’s aerial warfare sets demanding requirements to mobility of air-defense systems, protection of their crews and automation of target interception
The Typhoon-AD combat vehicle meets these requirements in the segment of man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS). Developed by Izhevsk-based Kupol electric-mechanical plant (a member in the Almaz – Antey Corporation), the Typhoon-AD is manned by a detachment of servicemen operating MANPADS. Ilya Rykov, deputy chief designer at the Kupol company, shared details on this system.

ROSOBORONEXPORT JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) has established manufacturing of 3VBM17 Mango armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot (APFSDS) rounds in India. The ammunition is designed to defeat armored vehicles fitted with composite armor. The project is being implemented under the Make in India program
The 125mm Mango round is designed to be fired from the guns of T-72 and T-90 MBTs. Various versions of these combat vehicles are in service with the Indian Army.
The Mango rounds include the 3BM42 APFSDS projectile capable of engaging modern tanks fitted with composite armor.

ROSOBORONEXPORT JSC organized a display of Russian products for countering organized crime and terrorism on the sidelines of the XII International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues. The event was held from April 23 to 25, 2024 in St. Petersburg under the auspices of the Security Council of the Russian Federation
The meeting was attended by the most of the Russian Federation’s partners at the level of high-level representative delegations led by secretaries of national security councils, advisers to the Heads of State and Government, Ministers of Internal Affairs and the heads of special services.

Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited, registered and located in India, has produced and transferred 35,000 Kalashnikov AK-203 assault rifles to the Indian Ministry of Defence. The founders of the enterprise from the Russian side are ROSOBORONEXPORT JSC and the Kalashnikov Group (both are subsidiaries of the Rostec State Corporation)
The Kalashnikov AK-203 assault rifle is a version of the AK-200 rifle chambered for the 7.62×39mm cartridge used in the Indian Army.
The weapon has the traditional advantages of Kalashnikov assault rifles: reliability and ease of maintenance.

JSC ROSOBORONEXPORT (part of Rostec State Corporation) offers the foreign customers its services in organizing and fully equipping airborne units as part of the national armed forces
The Company is ready to assist in forming an organizational structure of airborne units, establishing the necessary ground infrastructure, equipping the units with all types of military equipment and weapons and training military personnel.

The session with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Russian Engineering Union, Chairman of the Committee on Industry and Trade of the RF State Duma Vladimir Gutenev organized in the format of a video conference was focused on discussing the issues of transformation of the system of military and technical cooperation amid growing interest of the global market players to technological partnership.

At HeliRussia 2024, ROSOBORONEXPORT took part in a joint exhibit of Rostec’s enterprises and showcased modern Russian attack, military transport and transport/attack helicopters at its booth.

Of course, specific targets for the upgrading are not disclosed, however, by following the previous changes in the performance characteristics of the SAMS Tor family, conclusions can be drawn about the tasks of the work being carried out today.

The S-350E Vityaz air defense system, max. kill range 120 km, is designed to defend administrative, industrial and military facilities from massive attacks of modern and future air attack weapons. The system is capable of repelling air attacks from any direction simultaneously.

The IL-76MD-90A heavy transport aircraft developed by Ilyushin Design Bureau, part of the United Aircraft Corporation, is a deep modernization of the well-proven IL-76MD aircraft. Despite the external similarity with its predecessors, the new modernized version of the IL-76MD-90A aircraft is fundamentally different from them
